Pick-A-Something

For this project, we were to choose a theme. It could be absolutely anything; So I chose an object to be in all my photos, and also the same effect for each. I have a long necklace with a large heart on the chain as my object, and for the effect I used "Half Sepia" (http://photoshoptutorials.ws/photoshop-tutorials/photo-effects/half-sepia-2/Page-1.html).

For this photo, I had the necklace entwined in several dandelions. I made the effect; softlight darker in this photo to make it have a dreary effect and contrast against the shadows of the hand, flowers, and cloudy sky.

In this photo, I  hung the necklace on a low hanging branch on this tree. The branches in this tree look very interesting, and gives the photo a more mysterious look. I made the whole effect process on this one darker so the trees and sky have more shadows.

For this photo, I had a friend hold the necklace, sort of weaved in her fingers. To hold it up in the sky; it made the photo look brighter and have a nice background. I made the half sepia effect lighter in this one to give it a more hopeful looking/happy effect.

In this photo, I wrapped the necklace around the vine design on the back of the school benches, in a way that the heart pendant hangs in the front. The effect worked out in this, and made it look somewhat old style photo/ just plain sepia.

For this photo, I did a similar pose as the one with the sky background, but had it with a sharper/brighter colour back so the black sleeve and silver necklace stand out. I made the effect have more red colour, so the vividness really worked.

This photo has the necklace hanging on a tall stem of a plant, hanging into a small patch of dandelions. There are many shadows in this photo, therefore it was hard to make the effect work well but I just made it so there were more greens/yellows standing out than others.
